Weekday on the Wakulla

Join CPI President Ryan Means for an awesome out and back paddling adventure on the marvelous Wakulla River. On a weekday, in summer, we will have the river mostly to ourselves. We will discuss local natural history and biodiversity of this world class first magnitude spring ecosystem.

While we are at it, we will paddle with manatees, handle terrific turtles, and experience endless plants and animals. Bring your swimsuit, mask and snorkel. We will observe fossils from off the riverbed, and learn about the prehistory of our region.

All inclusive adventure. Boats, PFD, paddle, extra drinks, all provided.

All ticket proceeds go towards our efforts to preserve the incredible biodiversity of the southeastern Coastal Plain. Extra donations for this paddle trip will go towards the Apalachicola Riverkeeper's RiverTrek in support of preserving the amazing Apalachicola River!
